WOW. We cracked open 3 btls for my mom's 70th. Just such a smooth wine with tons of cherry flavor and a long finish. Held up really well with our hearty saucy Italian dinner.

It reminds of me the 23rd piano sonata by Beethoven, the 'appassionate'. It's hard, unique, warm, decisive, like a peaceful lava stream going through your tongue to your heart.
