Wine color is starting to show the browning edges of oxidation but still has that robust purple garnet hue. Aroma is complex betraying the heavy alcohol with a spicy hint of heat. But carried with all that is the peppery, tobacco, plummy cherry notes of the grape. Drinks magnificently. Loads of jammy fruit without a heavy sweetness. Definitely leans towards a medium body with a nice sour cherry acidity to round its finish. Oak is present but only to support never to stand out in front. — 9 hours ago

Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black fruit, purple flowers, pepper spice and dusty herbs. Flavors of sour black cherries, black berry/raspberry, black olives and those roasted herbs. A bit of black pepper on the long and lingering finish. Very fruit forward, plump and fleshy.
