When in Argentina drink…..rose? Syrah based rose from the extreme North of Argentina, in Juyjuy, just south of Bolivia & Paraguay. At 15.1% abv a “ light” red. Fresh cut wild strawberries soaked in rum, & sure, runs a bit hot but who’s counting when drinking rose in BA. Apparently some young, brave guns making wine this far north & it’s delicious. First it is important to point out that even though is a cabernet sauvignon this is a white wine, it is very fruit forward, mainly red apple, dried fruit and even some cherry on the nose which is not common for a whit wine, even though is fruity on the palate is not overly sweet and has a very nice dry finish. — 5 years ago

Looks like a bourbon. Aromas of walnuts, balsamic, and caramelization. Tasty and Sweet. An excellent option for a dessert wine. Kind of like a pecan liquor without the high alcohol content. — 6 years ago
