See my previous notes from last year. By all accounts, this bottle is an analog of the previous bottles I have enjoyed of the 2021 “Vie Erte”. This time, I was able to track the wine over three days and it never lost power. The fruit and structure are in harmonious balance. I am so excited to try this vintage when it begins to show some secondary characteristics…but I’m fully expecting to see exercise some serious patience. These wines will love for a very long time. — 3 months ago
Costs d’Amalfi Ravello 2025. Pale straw coloration. On the nose delicate lemon and citrus and pear/ fresh acidity. On the palate, delicate citrus and pear. Some minerality. — 4 months ago
Solid Italian option and Kurt rec. would try again. Light and acidic but not too much. Grassier than citrus. — 5 months ago

2022 vintage. Medium body and plenty of punch. Throws in spices and earth. Solid pricing. Don't move much Barbaresco. If someone pulled this out from underneath the table in a decade tho, I'd have a huge smile. Can fight through the tannins now if you must. Try to hold off 3-5 years if possible. 8.5.26. — 2 months ago
Nice savoury acid. Juicy apples. — 4 months ago
2023 vintage.
Garganaga 70 % with remaining 30 % of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
From a combination of volcanic tuff and limestone soils. Aged 6 months in stainless steel before bottling.
Pale gold in colour.
Citrus, lemon zest, nutty and herbal aroma.
Yellow plum, white peach and tarragon with grassy and herbal flavours.
Juicy finish with a pleasant pinch of minerality. — 6 months ago

After visiting mt Etna and getting an appreciation for their wines. Had the 2023 in Cefalu and it was smooth, found a bottle of 2020 in the states, not quite ss good as what we had in Sicily but still enjoyzble — 12 days ago
