Christmas wine with lobster was awesome. Was concerned about the age but this held up very well — 3 years ago
Another summer guzzler for $10.00, winery over $20.00 though. More acidity than the Mathis but not as much flavor. Either way both are winners at this price & release price. Save your money for big time cabernets, drink inexpensive Rose
Winery notes,
Crafted from 100% Pinot noir, the fruit for our Rosé is intentionally selected with an eye towards cooler sites which retain juicy, vibrant acidity. Stainless steel fermentation to retain the bright, fresh fruit character.
"Ethereal aromatics of magnolia, hibiscus, wild strawberry, jasmine and rainwater blend with slightly savory hints of lemon thyme and white pepper on the nose. The seamless palate of apple (think Envy or Pink Lady), slight honey notes and juicy acidity make this a refreshing, but serious Pinot noir rosé."

Sigh. Such a lovely experience: a treat for the senses. 2013 was a magnificent year, and after 9 years this one was really coming together. (Fortunately I have two more of this vintage; I will try to wait because this wine has years of string drinking ahead.)
This is an estate wine, and Steve Burgess manages his property with goats to keep the underbrush cleared. I don’t know if that makes a difference in the taste but I do envy those goats who get to spend their days on that lovely Mount Howell slope.
Lots of people talk about the flavors, and the finesse, and the balance, and the succulence of this wine. It is lush and beautiful but built with a restraint and depth that will make your meal sing: even if, like us, you are serving burgers off the grill. With this wine, it will be a memorable experience. — 2 years ago
Napa wine tasting. Love! — 5 years ago
Here we have a Prosecco that is more frizzante than bubbly. It is also cloudy in its yellow tint. The time spent on the lees added depth and complexity that is hard to find in a Prosecco. The nose is downright funky, with a yeastiness that would turn bread green with envy. There are huge mineral notes as well and the green apple smell is almost completely overwhelmed. This wine is not sweet, as is the custom with Prosecco. It is bone dry, in fact, with no residual sugar. The palate has a gripping acidity and a savory salinity that combine to form a Prosecco that is more like a pensive study than a party favor. — 2 years ago
Organic Burgundy that has nothing to envy to the prestigious appellations of the region. Very nice plain Pinot Noir; quite light, magnificent texture on the palate, tertiary notes with hints of vanilla, almost caramelized perfectly melted. Super price / pleasure ratio.
Super rapport prix/plaisir . — 4 years ago

Enjoyed it with hubby at Envy Wine Room in Spring, TX. Great find. Loved the subtleness underneath--not a huge punchy citrus but medium sharpness. More grapefruit than what I call tasting like dirt and rocks (personal favorite). — 4 months ago
