An marvelous example of 2016 vintage. This non-Barolo-Barolo shows the elegance and grace of the 2016s tannins. Captivating and alluring immediately on the palate the nose opens slightly slower but blooms quick enough into great fruit and rose to violet tar. Very impressive and showed age extremely well. — 2 months ago

Overall great. A touch darker but that was the beauty of choosing an 03. Classic despite the hardships — 2 months ago

Typical Piemont and difficult to drink for most but seriously good. Buy for the money. — a month ago

Arborina Barolo Nebbiolo 1990

Very young, in appearance and taste. Lacks typicity, but very fine nonetheless. Fruit on this wine is delicious, fresh, with nice tannins and balanced acid. — 2 months ago

Vigna Arborina Piedmont Nebbiolo 1990

Also a 90, but the IGT bottling. Less balanced than the 90 Barolo Arborina, but still showing very well, with loads of red berry and sour cherry fruit offset by acidity that is a bit astringent. — 2 months ago

Rüncot Riserva Barolo Nebbiolo 2008

So... I am missing Italy. I'm going back to Piedmonte, and soon. So I popped this. I have it in the decanter but I can already tell this is at the top of my scale.

I'll try my best to justify... But this wine is a 9.5 on my scale, it's tough to move beyond that as I am giving a nod to the greatest wines that I have yet to experience.

It's a perfect round cherry in your mouth. I should have more but I'm tired.
