2021 vintage was mildly tannic w/ a hot nose, good mouthfeel w/ blackberry/cherry flavors that quickly fade. Very nice! — 6 months ago
So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back.and due to scheduling, my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.
Notes possibly tomorrow, scores honestly tonight.
Decanted 6H.
24-Hour Update:
Nose has crushed bricks, blood orange, ripe cherries, cranberry sauce and wet vines.
Palate has dried cranberry (unsweetened), chalk, orange zest, black currant and dried blackberry.

Dec 2023. Vertical w/ 2010 vintage. Should have tasted this on first! 2010 is outstanding (probably at least partially due to the age) this 2016 is very good. Black fruit, chocolate, tobacco. Classic left bank Bordeaux. Excellent QpR ay $29/bottle. Have several more so can enjoy as it ages. — 4 months ago
Opened about an hour before our Thanksgiving dinner; a preamble of sorts. At these early stages, the 2020 Amador County is like a laser beam of lemon citrus. Yes, there are lemon blossoms and minerals too. The acid is racy and there is a bit of a wooly texture too. Exciting now due to its youthful energy but should be fun for several years to come. — a year ago

This is a delicious complex Chablis that is vibrant despite (or perhaps due to) being released 14 years after the vintage! Golden straw colored; super fresh nose of honeysuckle and pear; melon, crisp minerality. Perhaps a touch thin compared to the other ales Lys I have tried. But great nonetheless with years to spare. — 2 years ago
