2020 vintage. Premier cru and Monopole vineyard. Medium-heavy body. Some aged/golden flavors already present. Not the cheapest Beaune but this is banging and matches plenty of Meursault, Chassagne or Puligny in strict terms of dollars for the delivery. Can’t say I’m the biggest fan of large Burg houses but they occasionally surprise you. This is one of those said occasions. Not to be missed for the concentration and presentation. 8.7.24. — 4 months ago
