Douloufakis, Alargo, assyrtiko 2019.
Smoky nose and a touch of a mineral thing (could it be chalk?) , with some yellow fruits notes, great structure with a strong acid drive, a great width, a good soft mouthfeel with a chalky touch. Long finish with those smoky, fruity and chalky notes. 14% abv 😳. Assyrtiko is great 👍🏻 — 3 years ago
Mineral driven, grapefruit, leads medium bodied, similar to a verdicchio. — 6 years ago
100% Latiko from the Island of Crete. Light garnet color. “Pinot Noir-like” in appearance and body style. Aged in amphora. Aromas of dried red fruits minerals and dusty earth. Pallet features bright red and black berry fruit, figs and herbs. Tingling acidity. There is some tannin here. Solid quality. Great sipper! — 2 years ago

Per a recommendation, we had this to compliment some spicy Thai food and it was a great pairing. The slight sweetness cut the hotness of the food and what was left was an earthiness and some yellow fruit. Lots and lots of sediment(?) left at the bottom. — 5 years ago
