Go ahead, taste it blind and try not to call it young stainless steel champagne. Once you’re aware, then you start noticing the mineral reality and slightly saline quality. Great work — a month ago
Fresh and salty! Love it! — 5 months ago
The 2022 vintage Fiano di Avellino from Ciropicariello starts with a rich straw-almost golden color to the eyes and unfolds in time on the nose with abundant floral notes and hints of honey. With a chance to breathe the palate evolves into a surprisingly mouth-coating viscosity that’s held together by its mineral driven heart. It’s a fuller-bodied example of the grape than what I’ve come across before and it earns it. — 7 months ago
