Stewed and baked fruit, charred wood, vanilla on the finish. Bordering on overripe and the oaks a bit much for my taste, but the acid/tannin structure keeps this enjoyable. — 5 years ago

Go ahead, taste it blind and try not to call it young stainless steel champagne. Once you’re aware, then you start noticing the mineral reality and slightly saline quality. Great work — 4 months ago
The 2022 vintage Fiano di Avellino from Ciropicariello starts with a rich straw-almost golden color to the eyes and unfolds in time on the nose with abundant floral notes and hints of honey. With a chance to breathe the palate evolves into a surprisingly mouth-coating viscosity that’s held together by its mineral driven heart. It’s a fuller-bodied example of the grape than what I’ve come across before and it earns it. — 10 months ago

Prune flavors, but dry and round. Spicy/woody on the finish. Unassuming but complexly flavored. Deserves its own attention — don’t smother with food — 6 years ago
Excellent! Ruby colored with lots of notes…cherry, forest, plum, floral, raspberry. Very smooth with a long finish. Nice spice note with cherry, cranberry, stewed fruits, and cedar. — 24 days ago
