June 2023. Medium crystalline red. Fruity nose, integrated palate. Medium bodied. Fresh and balanced. Easy to like. Just past peak, I think. Drink up. — 2 years ago
Slight dark ruby red. Deep strawberry, raspberry and plum. Quite good aroma! Gentle taste. Minerals. domaine julien et fils cote de nuits-villages 22 @1760, domaine, 241029 — 2 months ago
Reliable, delicious, and reasonable. Slightly on the fruitier end of the Bordeaux spectrum - gorgeous blackberry, plum and cassis, balanced by delicious chocolate, exotic tobacco, and good spice. Good acidity provides incredible length. Always amazing for the price. — 9 months ago
This is a very powerful and layered all grenache CdP. 100+ year vines from the domaines best plots. The palate is packed with dark ripe berries, violets, dried flowers, char, pastille and more. Expressive. Could use more time in the bottle but already impressive. — 2 years ago
Strawberries. Light. — 3 months ago
This wine has a soft, light, onion skin pink hue. The nose is fresh and fruity. There is a bushel basket of strawberries in the aroma package, along with citrus minerality and that wonderful smell of rain on a hot sidewalk. The palate is dominated by the acidity, which is quite lively. Ripe red fruit is there, of course, as is a healthy dose of lemon and tangerine. The wine finishes long and the acidity keeps on working after the sip. — 8 months ago
Spices and nice dark and red fruit on the nose and palate, nice balance, medium bodied plus with a soft texture of tannins, good. 89-90
Notes constantes, un beau fruit, des épices, bien équilibré, assez puissant mais sans excès, des tannins approchables et de belle texture. 89-90 — 4 years ago

Savory and very satisfying. Chewy tannins and long smoked meat, meaty mushroom, and ripe red fruit with just enough sweet to offset any tannin tongue but nothing cloying. Nose was weak but flavors intense and lovely. — 4 days ago
