Really a lovely langhe Nebbiolo. Opened 6 hours before serving but no decant. With a slight chill it was delicious. Definitely recognizable as Nebbiolo, mouth filling in the right ways, excellent pairing with pork tenderloin with mustard/rosemary/fennel/garlic. — 6 months ago

So so good. This is an inspiration wine for me - I started making a wine as an homage to this style a couple of years ago. So happy I did. I love this expression of grenache - you get all of the fruit, with some nice earthiness but minimal tannins and just a lot of depth in what is inherently a “simple” wine. Wine #5 on Jean-Pierre Robinot Uncorked Vol. 1

Lovely, perfumed, and delicate bouquet of flowers, seawater, and peach. With time, it opens up and becomes sweeter on the nose. On the palate, it's round despite the high acidity, offering an interesting evolution with a touch of brine in the finish. Lively, electric, and delicious. It's like Gravonia mixed with Jacky Blot. A curious combination, but it needs more time in the bottle.

Maurizio Sòt is a superstar. This is a rockstar wine. Nose is so unique and aromatic. Red cherries, herbs, sweet roses, sweeter darker cherries, amazing perfume. The brilliance of 2016 Barolo at the village level is not talked about enough. Glorious spice after 15-18 minutes now. Just glorious. Oh the palate. Sweet and decadent and precise with super sappiness on the finish. Gorgeous red fruits, strawberry, even a hint of red delicious apple, and so many cherries. Amazing precision and depth. Big tannins ensure a long life. Classically structured. Excellent length and persistence. — 4 years ago
