Domaine La Pomme De Pin

Château Le Pin

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2006

Wow a treat! Color is a dark beautiful cranberry. On the nose: essence of dark fruit and sweet floral jump from the glass with primary notes of roasted meat, wet forest floral and subtle chocolate mint. Taste: silky smooth and luscious coating the palate with red fruit, cedar, earthy soil, crushed rock and minerals with a medium plus spice dark chocolate finish. Yummy for sure and wonderful way to start off the first Friday of the new year!! — 20 days ago

Cloudy Bay

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021

So I wanted to taste the legend of SB in NZ. The nose is great with lemon and other citrusy notes, that typical cat piss note, other herbal notes i am not able to pin. The palate is very well made with a massive acid backbone, some lemon, citrusy notes all along, a good width and some very lively mouthfeel. The finish is long and extra fresh with those citrusy notes. That's exquisite! It reminded me of some Sancerre I had — 3 years ago

Château La Rose Du Pin

Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Liked a lot. From Haskell’s box, our second red Bordeaux. Medium body with some but not marked tannins, is mainly a Merlot blend with less Cabernet from this region I think. — a month ago

Le Vieux Pin

British Columbia Petit Blanc 2022

The Sauvignon blanc lightly shows through with subtle notes of gooseberry and lime but is completed well by the Pinot Gris and Marsanne with hints of tropical fruits and subtle florals. A very good wine! — 6 months ago

First vintage under the ownership of Le Pin. The nose starts off with abundant of blueberry, blackberry and cassis, and then turns to warm spices, black pepper, graphite, and hint of cigar box. Medium to full elegant body. Bitter sweet long finish.
Just entering its drinking window. Fantastic value.
