Les Chaffots Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2009

Cranberry, orange peel, exotic spices. A real sense of place with this Burgundy. I suspect it will be even better in 3 or 4 more years. — 6 days ago

Drinking the 2017. Lovely minerality with just a touch of fruit. Beautifully balanced. — 2 months ago

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2007

This was a huge Pinot, big red and blue fruits, slight petrol smell and the beginning that burned off but gave a unique attribute. Forest floor, mushrooms. — 2 months ago

Love this, apple, pear, with a little vanilla on the nose...balanced and a touch creamy with great acidity at the same time — 15 days ago

Sunngass Alsace Riesling Pinot Gris 2016

I had this with an amazing bowl of ramen with a fish based broth and it was perfect. The hints of Riesling and Pinot Gris were equally awesome. A good saline quality, hint of petrol, citrus, and stone. Very well blended together. — 2 months ago

I don’t think I can remember a burgundy that has smelled so much like a northern Rhône wine. Loved the aromatics! A distinct blood/iron note with herbs, earthiness, and crunchy cranberry. Slightly darker profile on the palate with tar, black raspberries, rose petals and some spice. Good acidity here...not sharp nor flabby, with a soft profile after a short decant. — 2 months ago
