This is a delicious Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with a hint of New World style. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward, powerful and engaging.
Nicely balanced and spicy, with a great mouthfeel.
This 6 year old is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. The high alcohol is well integrated by now. A great sipping wine.

Very nice Sauternes with delightful balance of fruit, flowers, sweetness and unctuousness, plus sufficient acids to bring it all together. Quite a delicious sipper. This was the very last bottle of Sauternes I could find at my local BevMo in Santa Monica, and it was just a half bottle at that. I should really go back to the Wine House or Wally’s for my wine purchases but this tells me how under appreciated Sauternes is in the U.S. A pity.
I enjoyed the 2019 vintage with homemade chicken liver pâté on toasted brioche. — 4 years ago
Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — a month ago
In a word this wine is “intense”! It’s full bodied and high octane with ripe, juicy red and black fruit (red and black plum, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, mulberry), black licorice, earth, meat, leather, and sweet baking spice notes.
The medium acidity and deep concentration of aromas and flavors bring balance to the high alcohol (15.5% ABV); the tannins are smooth and supple. It has a lingering finish. — 5 months ago
The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Cuvée Tradition showcases lovely aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine, grapefruit, lemon, orange peel, melon, vanilla and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, vibrant and framed by supple acidity, it can be drunk now but will also develop tertiary notes over the next couple of years.
