Popped and poured from a half bottle; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Oeil de Perdrix” is made in the saignée method and pours a pale copper/pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of strawberry, raspberry, pink pepper, lemon, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely expression of a Blanc de Noir Rosé from Bouzy. Disgorged April of 2023. — 4 months ago
Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — 25 days ago

I can’t get over this wine! The first word that comes to mind is luscious!! Ripe peaches and pear, smoke, pineapple, chamomile, tree bark and limestone. I need a case and now I can’t find it - should’ve bought more!!! — 5 months ago
Drinking really lovely right now. Merlot doesn’t get enough love from pop wine media. And so so clean - how does 2010 Bordeaux drinking in 2024 not have a trace of Brett? Lovely. — 5 months ago

This was incredible! Pale ruby, brick accents to the color. Aromas of cherry, blackberry and oak. Tannins balanced perfectly! Black cherry, spiced oak and black tea on the palate.
