2024 vintage. Château Cavalier is a Castel family estate. This is just the entry level, but you could only wish that all Provence rosés would be this good. Grapefruit, strawberry and flowers, fresh and mineral. Very dry ( 0,2 g/l residual sugar), while having a round mouthfeel. Very good value. — 4 months ago
Exclusive to The Cavalier and delicious. — 2 years ago
2023 vintage. The "Grand Cavalier" is the high end Rosé from Château Cavalier. Not sure if it's better than the extraordinary Marafiance 2024 from the same producer, but excellent anyway. A serious, gastronomic rosé with complexity and length. Try with langoustines or gambas. Abv. 13%. — 2 months ago

2023 vintage. Château Cavalier Grand Blanc. 40% Rolle, 40% Sémillon, 20% Clairette. A high end white wine from this Castel owned Provence estate. A tiny production from 3 hectares, only 3993 bottles produced. A very nice blend, combining roundness and exotic fruit, with minerality and fresh acidity. Moreover this beauty is very affordable! Initially tasted like Chardonnay then evolved with an hour of air and warming. Still rich and big fruit initially but the a waxy and acidic finish. It’s very unique and I like it. Not a crowd pleaser but one to contemplate. — a year ago
An old-school South Italian wine preparation. Red fruits and a smoky character. Moderate tannins. — 2 years ago

2025 vintage. A bit more colour, and a more round mouth feel, and a little less tension compared to the excellent 2024. Another winner from this estate. This is a highly gastronomic rosé. Works wonderfully with a shrimp/zucchini risotto. Abv. 13% — a month ago
