Fine mousse with vibrant acidity. The palate shows noticeable tension, especially on the back end, where it lingers longer than expected. Slightly firmer structure gives it a more gastronomic feel.

Bright and deep ruby purple with quickly dissipating magenta mousse. Black cherry and tarry patent leather on the inviting nose and medium full palate. Medium acidity and medium tannins. Finish is lengthy and continues the palate and extends the tannins. Wonderful dry red sparkler suitable for brunch, dinner, or just sipping (though the tannins do call for food of some type). Was lucky to be invited by Raj and the Evening Land crew to dinner tonight to taste through some of the old wines side by side with the new releases. Before and after we tasted some of Raj and Sashi’s favorite wines and champagnes. This was one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted in my life. Completely transcendent, inspiring, one of a kind, amazing, perfect, fruit, acid, alcohol, tannin, structure, salinity, gorgeous.
