Great dry Chardonnay. Balanced alcohol and acid. Medium acid. Medium- high alcohol. Slight peach aroma. Slight bitter finish but not to a fault. Very rich mouthfeel and thick texture. Good burgundy. — 6 years ago

Tasted on Wednesday 14 May 2025: A wine that evokes the heart of a burning forest — old-vine Grenache and century-old Carignan conjure up smoldering earth, wild herbs, and dark berries. It’s raw, intense, and untamed, like fire licking through ancient woods.

A lighter styled Pouilly-Fuisse. Very pale color. I love the delicate nose: white peach, a squeeze of lemon juice, wet limestone minerality. Fairly chiseled in the mouth, favoring stony minerality over fat fruit. Pretty good acids. I’d prefer a bit more fruit and flesh, but this is nice at the price. — 10 days ago
