Prefillossera Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese - Nerello Cappuccio Blend 2019

Grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, the vines are at high enough elevation that phylloxera could not survive. 14% ABV, 1500 bottles produced. — 6 months ago

Nero di Sei Etna Rosso 2018

Another excellent example of this wine. Big producer for Etna; small producer for Italy. — 3 years ago

This is a great cab — pretty classic Napa, with bright fruit (not Paso Robles level, though). A little less cola than some Napa cabs; this has some Bevan notes to it. Fine tannins, less tannic than Di Costanzo as a comparison. The ‘19 is currently $150 but I believe I paid a bit less. — a year ago

My first of the 2019 vintage. Tasty, opened up with some air — had some mineral/old world vibes right out of the bottle. Cheers! $115. — 3 years ago

I enjoy Young Inglewood Bordeaux blends very much. Vs the Di Costanzo Pelton and I drank first, this was more mellow (merlot-y?) but still more fruit & residual sugar than a typical old world Bordeaux. Would definitely drink again. $75? — 3 years ago
