Derby Wine Estates ‘Project España Red Blend’ 2015: Full-bodied. Nice balance. Exceptional acidity. Notes of black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, oak & earth. Gentle, medium-long finish. Consisting of 57% Tempranillo, 17% Carignane, 14% Grenache & 12% Graciano, this Paso-made, Spanish red blend was rich & jammy with dark fruit brilliance; complex, multi-layered, well-structured. Opened 1 hour prior and it really made a big difference in how the wine drank. All in all, this is a great juice! Wishing everyone a fantastic week! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago
Aaron has produced a textbook Pinot with his Derbyshire Vineyard Pinot. It’s refined but not subtle. It’s fruit is in check. Paired with Mexican, pizza and pork chops. — 4 years ago
Delicious with beef stew! Rich mouthfeel, dark fruit, with some spice on the finish. We loved it, and love the name. — 2 years ago

Disgorged Feb 2021. The first sniff is the all knowing Selosse oxidative hallmark. Multiple scents scrambling to take the lead like the horses coming out of the starting gate in the Kentucky derby. Very fresh in the mouth with spice , nuts and orchard fruit . The only reason my score is not higher was the oxidative note that grew in intensity. — 2 years ago

A most interesting wine. Needs 30 minutes.
Nose: soft cherries. Library dust. Gorgeous cherry flowers. Like a 9.5 nose.
Palate: silky texture. Lovely early season cherries. A touch of vegetal notes. These go away with air. Juicy. Cherry spice. Delicious in an elegant way. A hint of savoriness. Texture is elite. Pure silk.
Psycho finish. You get that lingering elegant spice. — 7 days ago
