Lovely restrained merlot. — a month ago
Another outstanding vintage of this classic Valpo! Dark purple color. Busy nose and pallet of fresh and dried fruits including currants, dates, prunes and a hint of pomegranate seeds. Big, and intensely concentrated but the tannins are surprisingly soft. Long and bold finish. A fruit forward wine lover’s dream wine. Thank You Kasey and Petey. — 7 days ago
Too easy, best if cold, don’t smoke before.
Damn, what a wine. Love. — 9 days ago
Diverso dal 2020, sembra più un Sauvignon, nota minerale, frutta meno evidente, naso diverso. Da aspettare. Appena imbottigliato. — 4 days ago
Very delicate and balanced wine, with a strong personality. Subtle notes of pomegranate, grass and citrus, well balanced acidity and sweetness. It could be cellared for 1-4 years, perfectly enjoyable now. — 11 days ago
The 2012 Monte Bello has had time to open and develop and it’s now perfect for drinking. It can still hold good for another 10 or more years, but it’s reached it’s prime. Plenty of aroma and flavor, with plum and fig dominating, flavors from the cask (mostly wood and subtle smoke) and some black fruit. A delicious wine, very expensive but still worth the price. — a day ago

The best Amarone I have ever had! Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. Dark ruby color with a hint of red around the rim. Lovely aromas of black fruit, violets, baking spices, and cocoa. Full pallet of dried fig, black plums, black tea, and herbs. Earth and mineral notes on the very long finish. Creamy texture. Tannins are a bit chewy but not over top. Everything about this wine is totally in harmony and no one flavor dominates. Unbelievable! Thank you for sharing this one Kasey and Petey! — 7 days ago
