Went to buy a wake surf board. The store didn’t have any but a wine shop was near by. Saw a TikTok about this and had to try. Still way too young. Has some of the green pepper but wow. Smooth tannins and gorgeous dark fruit. Hints of black licorice. Had a big ribeye so very happy now. — 3 days ago

I know that this should be aged some time but had my brother in law visiting and he is a SB fan. Pulled this out of the cellar for him. Typical SB profile, balanced and a nice round creamy moutfeel. But other than that: I didn't taste the difference between this and a 15€ supermarket sauvignon blanc. Supposedly this is the top of Sancerre.... Maybe complexity will develop in a couple of years time but for now underwhelmed 🫣 — 9 days ago
