Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup

Coteaux du Languedoc Grenache Blend

2016 vintage. Fleshy with some white pepper in the nose. Decent tannins. Really solid group wine that’ll roll/pair w/beef, duck, pork or chicken. Medium bodied. Will pick up some more — 17 days ago

Les vignes d'Emilion Colin Coteaux du Vendômois Cabernet Franc 2017

70% Pineau d'Aunis / 20% Pinot Noir / 10% Cabernet Franc from the Coteaux du Vendômois AOC in the Loire Valley; 50-90 year old vines.

Color is dark purple, lightly translucent.

Nose has freshly ground white & black pepper, black cherry and red rose.

Palate has plum and blackberry, tremendous backbone of white pepper, earth with crunchy minerality, medium bodied and gentle but snappy tannins.

Call me caught off guard by this $16 Loire, smiles delivered!

@Aravind Asok Yes! Best when it's inexpensive wine over delivering, I've had, and sure you've had, expensive bottles that give an unexpected surprise...👎👎 under delivering.

Cuvée Thomas Coteaux Bourguignons Pinot Noir 2016

+2hr decant.

Nose has black cherry, plum skin, raspberry, pink rose, wet earthy aromas and touch of alcohol.

Palate has rich, tart red cherry, tart blackberry, game or grass fed meat notes, light confectionery sugar on the long finish. Acidity is high, but smooth and very enjoyable, mouthwatering.

Very impressive bottle for just under $30, value delivered. Drink now or hold for 4-6 years. It's damn tasty, remaining bottles likely will not see 2021...In this household.

Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé

That was a no brainer. Picked this one up for the store without a second thought! A pretty nose of wild strawberries. The palate is delicate with more wild strawberries plus white peach and a clean, mineral finish. Oh, and it’s organic. Oh, and it’s a woman winemaker. — 10 days ago
