Wow, Paul @W64 recommended, out in the shop was 2018, he went to get 2016, boy did I get lucky, I prefer less full bodied, this was medium to full bodied, soft, silky smooth, all the St Emilion and sooo much more, worth every cent of €60...it's bio-organic too. wine now at room temp, lavender, lights plums, defo upping it to awesome 9.3 sod it best wine ever for me, and thats some going.... — 3 years ago
Bright red fruit flavors of cherry, cranberry, and raspberry, with a bit of earthy funk going on also. Dried autumn leaves on the nose. Appropriately, this would make a good wine for fall. (Too bad it's the middle of winter now!) 60% Zweigelt, 30% St. Laurent, 10% Blaufrankisch. 2/6/22. — 5 years ago

2020 vintage. Another winner from Jaboulet and a great example of this under-the-radar northern Rhône appellation. Peaches, flowers and subtle spices. Crisp fruit and good almondy length and a hint of fresh mint. — 4 years ago
We tried this for the first time at Restaurant Alma a year ago and bought two bottles before we’d finished the first glass. We finally brought one out of the cellar to pair with a wine and cheese plate from St. Paul Cheese Shop. Lovely evening. — 6 years ago

D9. Enjoyed at Monsieur Paul at the French showcase of Epcot. Food was fantastic and this wine hit it out of the park. Called the night before and paid for the bottle using a little Disney magic. It was open for a few hours last night, recorked, and opened upon arrival. Whoa Daddy. Love Nuits St Georges when it's firing on all cylinders. The nose is dirty raspberry, black cherry, black tea, mint, peppery, and you could almost envision the soil that gave life to these grapes. The entry has all of these things, with the middle gaining some dates and tobacco. Hint of herb. Finishes with a lot of youthful tannin despite being extremely expressive for what this one is. I don't think this bottle was incredibly expensive, but it really killed tonight. Drink or hold for a decade. — 7 years ago
Dark wild berries, red currant, violets, cedar, dusty leather, tobacco leaf, bell pepper, lots of gravel, river rocks, hint of manure. Highly aromatic, med-full body, med + acidity, powdery tannins. Quite a classic and regal Chinon with spot-on aromatics and highly mineral-driven texture, giving the sensation of picking wild berries covered in dust and rock particles. Nice balance of vegetal/herbal and the earth/mineral components. 100% organically farmed 50-year old vines from one of the great parcels on the left bank. Very affordable to boot. — 8 years ago

Still very young and the oak needs to burn off in big way. Blue and black fruit, coffee, black soil rocks. — a month ago
