Nine year old right bank Bordeaux. Smooth, balanced supported by earthy forest floor notes. Nice complexity.

Wow, Paul @W64 recommended, out in the shop was 2018, he went to get 2016, boy did I get lucky, I prefer less full bodied, this was medium to full bodied, soft, silky smooth, all the St Emilion and sooo much more, worth every cent of €60...it's bio-organic too. wine now at room temp, lavender, lights plums, defo upping it to awesome 9.3 sod it best wine ever for me, and thats some going....

dark plumps, cedar, cherries, some violets and savory notes. More tight than I expected for a 2015 vintage. 91-92

2015. 9.0-9.1. Concentrated red/purple, with smooth Merlot fruit and tannins and a touch of leather. Starts the evening fruity and focused but later develops a relatively “leafy” (as a critic said), herbal finish that spoils some of the fun. Drinks well now; don’t see the acid or backbone to make this a long-termer. $43+ at Total.

I leap through the crowd and embrace it passionately, it greets me, warm, inviting, but not cloying.

Brooding, deep, dried-cherry flavored Merlot blend. A very enjoyable wine at a reasonable (although expensive $53) price. Ready to drink now.

Wow, I am not usually a Bordeuax guy but this was definitely the best Bordeaux I’ve ever had. High in alcohol (taste wise) but deep with Rich aromas, lots of leg and body and most of all, a strong peppery finish!! Love it. A gift from Total wine at $55. This was a 2015!
