Inky dark ruby in color. Molasses, oak and menthol on the nose. On the palate cola, cocoa, cedar and spice predominate. Some tannins and light but lingering acid in the finish. The 2010 is still drinking well, but may be on the back side of its quality years. — 6 years ago
Loooove this pet nat. Great champ sub. SL wine. — 4 years ago
Tart cherries! Little salty. Hazy and sour like a gose. Blurring the line btw wine and beer! — 5 years ago
Amazing pairing! Chicago style pizza and Saratoga Syrah. Deep purple color. Aromas of smoked meat, boysenberry and blackberry. Haunting blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry and limestone finish.
5% Viognier to this big boy.
