You can’t say much more than this is perhaps the finest Pinot Noir available.
It opens up bright, but mid pallet brings on more complex flavors than you’d expect from a Pinot grape. Finish is a bit earthy and delightful.
Thank you Brewer-Clifton for this wonderful Pinot Noir. — 5 months ago

Loved the maturation on this bottle at nine years old: Sturdy and structured. Concentration of ripe red fruit plus plenty of phenolic verve. A fantastic representation of a masculine Virginia CF — 16 days ago

Times change. Upping to 9. — 9 months ago

Bruised apple, ripe pineapple, chamomile, white lilies, smokey, a hint of flint stone. Luscious and sophisticated, we really loved this wine. Looking forward to tasting other vintages. — 4 months ago
Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir. We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This was my favorite as well as the group’s #1. — 2 years ago
