Wow! Like most of Burgundy, only a quality somm would have directed me here and my lack of knowledge but trust in a pro reaped huge dividends. Unfolding pretty quickly in the glass and only improved through the courses at Alain Ducasse London. No other experience in London comes close. — 10 months ago

This “Rarity” Pinot Bianco is a great find and until this gem, I would not have paid attention to Italian whites at all. But this is a serious wine with nice florals if not saffron notes. I was wowed by the new Head Somm at Ducasse London. — 2 years ago

2019 vintage. Calicem might well be Saint-Emilion's best kept secret. Tasted it several times and was always blown away. This time I tasted it alongside the extraordinary Larcis Ducasse 2019, which proves my point that Calicem is definitely of Premier Grand Cru quality ( in case the classification is still a thing after Cheval Blanc, Ausone and a few others left). — 2 years ago
