Great sauv blanc. Beguiling honeysuckle and green tropical fruit, pear, kiwi. Very generous, comparatively round and textured for Sancerre but still high acid. This will age well.
Unsurprisingly, even better on day 2. A riot of fruit aroma.

High acidity and nice body. Good texture for a white. Citrus and saline notes. Excellent! — a month ago
Kinda drunk when I had it. I remember it being better chilled and going well with cheese. Some funk maybe? — 2 months ago

I don’t know this house. They make Cordon Bleu—brut, extra brut, rosé, also a higher level called Princes, and their grand marque is Louis XV, also making a high end Vinotèque from older stock. House was founded in 1837 in Epernay. This is the only one I’ve had, a Cordon Bleu brut. And w 20 years on it, it’s pretty good juice. — 20 days ago
Bruised apple, cantaloupe. Nutty, oxidative. A little more acid would be welcome. Probably be nice with bleu cheese, maybe dark dried fruit. — 3 months ago
Nice, smooth, buttery — 18 days ago
Somewhat disappointing Sancerre, slightly flat. On sale for $22.79, regularly $25.29. — a month ago
