Château Porte Chic

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

One of my favorite Pomerols right now. Intense fruit, silky body, and great overall balance. Plus, it is the year of the horse. At Thyme Restaurant. — 2 months ago

La Porte Saint Jean Saumur Champigny Cabernet Franc 2014

Vintage 2014 | so happy I could hold my fingers from this bottle. Now, at eleven years old it has developed a truly distinguished taste. A combination of brushwood and minerals. With in smell and taste pepperbell, clearly Cabernet Franc. Fantastic. Paired with a very simple Cantonese dish (vegetarian): Tofu stewed in oystersauce. — 8 months ago

La Porte du Caillou Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and melon with white floral herb notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and yeasty notes, lively acidity with slight mineral character. Small production, nice! — 7 months ago

F Salento Negroamaro 2021

Vintage 2021 | tasted blind next to Montepulciano. Dark colour. Chocolate and plum in taste. A warm taste, I call it chic. Although an introverted character, this wine impressed me. — a year ago
