Morgon Cote du Puy 2016

The perfect go to every day French red. This 2016 Morgon is drinking very well right now. No need to wait. — 5 days ago

Château Grand-Puy Ducasse

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2006

2020/12/29 with duck leg salmis, duck fat-roasted cauliflower, carrot salad. Not the most complex or longest on the finish, but quite enjoyable - dark berries and a little pencil. Still some fruit and tannin - didn’t taste tired or even tertiary, it’s another of those middle-aged wines that I’ve been having out of the cellar. — 25 days ago

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2006

Celebrated NYE early. Decanted for a couple hours. Faint raspberries. Some earthy notes developing. Integrates nicely. Had with beef Wellington v 2.0 — a month ago

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Saint Guirons Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1982

Merry Christmas all. Stepping back in time to 1982 is always a treat for Bordeaux and this Grand Puy Lacoste was the whole package. Tobacco, leather and dark fruits on the nose are replicated perfectly in the palate with a long finish. Felt like we stepped into a time machine. Just fantastic stuff. — a month ago

Rose-Marie Rosé Blend 2016

Wow, just outstanding. Drinks like a red wine, not a rosè. — 2 months ago

Château Le Puy

Expression Originale Du Terroir Côtes de Francs Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Dark robe almost blackish red. Cherry and violets in the nose followed by leather and tobacco notes. A hint of oak in the medium bodied, velvety and fresh mouth. Excellent wine ! — 24 days ago

Totally nice very reasonable Bordeaux. Good with robust food, fine on its own — 2 months ago
