I liked it a lot. #confinement — 6 years ago
Strolled into Trader Joe’s; the shelf was stocked with this. Couldn’t believe it. Picked up another half case. This is a phenomenal bordeaux and one of the best QPRs around. Haven’t tasted in a year and it’s just as memorable. Lots of great mushroom and sweaty gym socks with a dusty, tannic finish. Perfect example of a phenomenal wine at sub-$20 that drinks at 3-4x the price. — 7 years ago

Real, real good. Very smooth, not very tannic, slightly fruity. — 7 years ago
Young St. Emilion blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Red berries, plum and smoky notes. Medium to full bodied, chrisp acidity and some heat from alcohol. Still a little bit off, needs year or two to settle down. Don’t know can I wait so long for this very decent wine with excelent value. — 7 years ago

Superb 2013 lalande Pomerol drinking perfect in 2025. Wondeful expression of plum and blackberry and oaky blackcurrant. An u forgettable suprise forgotten a bit in the cellar and glad it held up to time. — a year ago
Beautiful out of the gates. So much deep and savory spice behind a wonderful veil of warm red fruit. Ripe raspberry jam, lovely red plum, pastille, an array of spice from pepper, Ceylon cinnamon, and star anise to menthol and bay leaf. Gorgeous smokey and leathery tones throughout. A show stopper from such a subtle vintage, really inviting with its red profile and aromatics. The tannins have a touch of coarseness, but I find the use of whole cluster to highlight them, it is textural and firm but never sharp. Soulful, love it. Lot 16 12.4. — 6 years ago
Dark, cassis. Smooth. Inner sweetness. — 7 years ago
Good. Rich, dark cherry but balanced. Bought at Mitsukoshi for ¥5,000. — 7 years ago
Was purchased at Berns. Had a wax cap which I believe kept it in great shape. Was stunning after 103 years. — 9 years ago
Cherry aroma, lovely balanced and smooth mouth feel, spicy undertones and dry finish. Love this. — 12 years ago

Stunning. A total textural bomb, still very young but surprisingly accessible and open, which is the nature of 2020. Complex dark berry fruit, the sweetest, most velvety tannins, and that granitic edge only elite Hermitage gets. Powerful, deep and gorgeous. — 9 days ago
