Château Chasse Spleen

Château Chasse-Spleen

Moulis en Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Dark rubi robe, nose of asphalt, tobacco, cedar wood and a hint of blackcurrant. Very balanced and fresh in the mouth, complex, with a slight dry port note on the finish. Much better than the first bottle. Good stuff even if we prefer more classical vintages. — 21 days ago

Heitz Cellar

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Beautiful and historic. Old ownership. Wears the 14.5% alc. well. Dark cherry, cassis, eucalyptus, jalapeño, and perfectly integrated oak. Blind tasted next to ‘14 Chase-Spleen and was immediately recognized for its fruit and character. Plenty of life ahead but drinking very well with a long decant now. — 3 years ago
