A bottle brought from the château...i think it is at its peak here. Very good and had sentimental value — 3 days ago

Le Baron de Brane

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Rich, concentrated red fruit on the nose and something savory, almost herbal. Juicy, well/integrated tannins in the palate; inviting and solidly middle weight. Light roast coffee and a buttery, almost butterscotch note really ringing through on the palate. / super tight at first, especially on the nose, but opens up in the decanter, becoming performed and quite vibrant and positively exuding red fruit and that same butterscotch note. Seriously enjoyable. — 9 months ago

Love it. Gave a half case to dad for his 80th birthday. Full bodied but different / interesting. Very drinkable too. — 3 months ago

À la fois lisse et savoureux, mais qui ne soulève pas les éloges ou la passion. Du moins pour l’instant — 23 days ago

Château Boyd-Cantenac

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

Lovely tobacco and chocolate and dried cherries on the nose. Youthful tannins and nice fruit on the plate. An elegant medium/long finish. — 5 months ago
