Pinot blanc...not the butteriness of a typical burgundy, but deliciously subtle - with crispy duck xxx — 5 years ago

Lighter ruby vs 16. White limestone, fresh chalky, lots of fruit, grows on slope, 70 yo vines. Very sunny — 7 years ago

Fruity, medium bodied, easy to drink. Pairs well with meat and cheese.

Gorgeous clay-like nose. Juicy and dense, with insane tannin management, gorgeous granite, acidity, velvet texture, freshness and unreal energy. So, so sick. — 2 months ago

Drunk April 9 2022Malu’s birthday. Possibly best wine in my cave better than 1er cru with everything you could want from Bordeaux — 4 years ago
Good herb aroma and concentration. Later on Strawberry. 3 hours, Splendid, mix fruity flavor including plum, tropical fruits. I felt the same before when I tasted grand cru in Bourgogne. Philippe Charlopin Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2016 @2730, Kping - , 211020-211126 — 5 years ago
Surprisingly good, and as clearly northern Rhone syrah as any wine can be. It has the strong fruit and the floral complexity, but remains smooth on the palette and well balanced. — 6 years ago
I decided to revisit a bottle that was the winner of our horizontal tasting of MSD 2016 village (10 producers tasted blind by 10 participants). And once again this is a hit for a village. Lots of complexity, licorice, spices and red fruits... more than satisfactory length for this level of appellation. — 6 years ago

Astonishing right out of the bottle. Gorgeous Northern Rhône nose of green and black olive, granite, blackberry, red currant and wild Syrah perfume. But the story is the tannins. My God. The refinement here is insane: molten, elegant, seamless tannins that melt across the palate with ridiculous class. So drinkable, so pure, so balanced, with deep fruit, granitic freshness and a long, graceful finish. This is my favorite Saint-Joseph, and it is drinking beautifully already. — 2 months ago
