Revisiting at home after tasting in winery. Straw coloration. In the nose, pear, citrus and yeast. Hint of minerals. On the palate, apple, pear, citrus, brioche, good acidity and a long crisp finish. — 9 months ago
Tasted blind . Medium deep , garnet core , garnet rim . Quite sweet spiced nose , slightly deeper cherry , riper slightly less fresh . Black tea . On the palate this is deeper and richer , more extracted in style . Darker cherry , blackberry , quite high acidity but slightly drying tannins . This is quite intense and with lots of presence, reasonably long , dry spice , dried dark cherry finish . Really quite young . Needs more time , better in 3-5 years and will last well a further 5-10 — a month ago
On nose, its warm and ripe fruits there, oak, black cherries, some white pepper. On palate, wine is medium bodied, fruit is still fresh despite of some aging, tannic at the end, and elevated acidity. This still need some time, try it after 2026 if you can hold it. Cheers! — 5 months ago
Revisiting this wine at home after tasting at the winery. Ruby coloration with some transparency. On the nose, cherry, red berries, currants, some earthiness and minerals. On the palate, medium, lighter body, cherry, red berry, cola, earthiness, minerality/graphite and strong and long finish of minerality and graphite. Good tannins present. A very different and surprising red. I didn’t expect to like it but it is a refreshing and very drinkable red on this hot summer day in Florida. — 9 months ago
Made by the son, much better than the fathers version

Wow! The nose takes me to an old library with leather chairs. Approachable on opening with mouthwatering acidity balanced with moderate tannins showing up at the front and back of the palate. The flavors profile was exciting and complex. So happy to have experienced this unique Brunello! — 19 days ago
