Discovered this while touring Barolo. Rare grape. Excellent from front to finish. Starts with pleasant floral with pepper in the middle. Well balanced and unique. Taking some home. — 5 years ago

Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 2 years ago

More of the same aromatic, so we'll balanced that it almost doesn't feel as if it has more stuffing but just radiates an impression of solidity and confidence that seems to demand time in the bottle. — 2 years ago

Quite nice and good to try a Barbera with some good age. Probably too much fruit for me - quite exuberant even at this stage. With some air this comes into balance more, nice wine. — 4 years ago
