Took like two hours to show me what she’s made of. Damn. Hurry up. Maybe she wanted to lay down for like , I dunno , ten years but who has that kind of time? Finally interesting when she warmed up to what’s going on. Thanks for shyness Paolo - you made me wonder — 2 months ago
Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — a month ago
Very nice hint of spice excellent winter wine — 5 months ago
The nose is evocative of autumn on multiple sensory levels, with aromas of fennel fronds, chamomile tea, almonds, and tangerine that lead into a full but delicately rendered palate. Vitorchiano’s volcanic soils come through with a somber smoke-iron interplay, and glowing acidity lets the savory flavors coat the mouth, yet the overall impression is one of freshness and drinkability. — 2 months ago
