Lovely Cab leading blend with a healthy dose of Carménère. Gentle nose of ripe plum, black currant, dark chocolate, autumn leaves, and touch of green pepper. Eloquent medium body with round acidity and fine grained tannins.
Ready to drink, but should benefit from 5 years or so bottle age. — 5 months ago
Fruit forward. Bags of cherries and blackberries. Wonderful wine that is easy to drink. Little acidity. This wine knocks it out of the park (as the Americans say). — a year ago
Great local wine in Sardinia. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous nose. Boundless fresh roses and mid season cherry. Lithe, subtle yet vivid and so delicate. Just stunning. Carema is a wonderland. Soft, sweet and elegant with tart cherries and dusty tannins. A bit reserved now but it’s all there. Perfect balance here and astonishing length. So elegant and aristocratic. As it airs palate gets more opulent in the mid and the fruit slowly gains clarity and definition. More to come with air! Nose turns smokey and tarry now with air. Glorious spice. — a year ago
Dark ruby core with a garnet rim. The nose is full of aromas of dried cherry, violets, rose petals and leather. Dark cherry, cranberry and raspberry fruit flavors. Hint of black pepper on the short finish. Medium bodied with light tannins and mouth watering acidity. No evidence of oak aging. Basic “pizza wine,” but quite gulpable. Excellent QPR. — 3 months ago
Delicious Vermentino. Crisp and fruity and summery and good with seafood. The label claims it benefits from the “maestrale” (mistral winds). Glad someone is enjoying that wind! — 9 months ago
More than just a pretty label. Very good value wine for everyday use. Agree with comment from earlier vintage. Describing day 2 after opening. Starts sweet, then spicy, then finishes with a musky undergrowth. Somewhat dense with subtle tannins. Fruit is a huckleberry/fig melange. Overall unique and interesting. — 2 years ago

Belatedly and quietly. OK, good, but not quite together or nor aged enough. — 2 months ago
