Medium golden color. Aromas of unripe peach, lemon zest and jasmine. The palate is full of lemon/lime/orange citrus flavors and ginger with additional notes of green apples, melon and pears. Long and lingering finish that is a touch (but pleasantly) salty. Chewy texture with a high level of acidity. Quite complex and well crafted. — 6 months ago
Among the best that Ribero del Duero offers. Benefits from a generous decant for a wonderful waft in the glass — 18 days ago

Dark, robust, full bodied. Such a great wine for Italian eats. — 10 months ago
Tasted blind. Ruby reddish color, young-looking compared to other reds so far. Opaque. Notes of black fruit, mocha, some earth and a little bit of wood. Rich in the mouth. Given our earlier Rioja bottle, we go back to Spain with guesses. I guessed 90 Unico. This is the Valbueno blend, with grapes from 85/91/96. 94+ — 2 years ago
A fun and light wine (12%) for easy afternoon drinking. Light purplish red, blueberries on the nose but cranberries in the mouth. Earthly notes, tobacco, cedar, elegant tannins integrating with the rest of the body. Rather balanced. — 8 months ago
