Enjoyed this wine with a wonderful dinner of eggplant stuffed ravioli and fillet mignon in Noci, Italy. Garnett color with cocoa, raspberry and plum on the nose and palate and hints of black pepper on the finish. Elegant and lovely. — 7 months ago

Cá del Magro Custoza Superiore Garganega Blend 2020

2020 vintage.
A field blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscana, Manzoni, Tocai Friulano , Cortese, Chardonnay, Riesling Italico, and Malvasia.
Custoza is in the hills of Lake Garda. Magro vineyard is small and 30 plus years old. White spring flowers, citrus and ginger on the nose. Medium bodied and off-dry with an underlying acidity. Yellow stone fruits with apple, pear and ripe persimmon.
This wine paired well with Spaghetti alla Vongole with local clams.

Interessante o painel de 1973 a 2013 analisando como eram feitos há 50 anos (bem classudos e estruturados)
e de 10 anos pra cá, (mais frutados, "leves" e que já não precisam de muitos anos de guarda)!
