This is the third bottle each two years apart and this opened very nicely after about an hour or so
I’ve increasingly liked this wine although given it the same rating
It’s well structured aromatic and just an all round good expression of well made Central Otago Pinot
Probably open the next three each with a year or less further age — a month ago
True to the region. Nice bouquet with flavors of green apples and honey dew. Good finish. Maybe a bit sour in the middle. — a month ago
See previous Delectable notes for this 2020 Estate. Amazing quality for the price. This is the basic Kumeu Estate Chardonnay before you consider the individual Cuvées like Mates, Coddington etc. peachy stone fruit intensity on the palate with enough acidity to keep it fresh. Should be an annual purchase. Have the last one later this year or early 2026. The Village is even less expensive at only $21.50 AUD. — 18 days ago
Passion fruit and fresh cut grass aromas.
Medium body, crisp.
Passion fruit, grapefruit, and grassy flavors with light minerality. Bright acidity without being too tart. Excellent wine.
Partly aged in oak barrels, but not okay.

I love New Zealand’s wine, their strong taste and aroma, almost no aftertaste, especially if compared to French or Italian good Sauvignon blanc. — 3 days ago
Terrific fresh flavours, acidity, balance and finish.
Could apply the Aldi motto-good, different — 18 hours ago
Nice, young, tight knit. Light on Franc herbaceousness, but firm and fine in its structure. Best in 1-5 years from now. — 21 days ago

This wine had excellent dark fruit and tannins that maintain some grip and structure. You can tell this is mountain fruit.
Drank over 3 nights with argon preservation in the fridge.
Paired very well with manchego and also with chili.
