Not as sweet as 2019 — 5 years ago
One of the few times I gave a wine time to open up and decanted it. Very smooth and even my husband enjoyed a few sips (not a wine drinker). I have a few bottles of 2019 and am wondering how they will compare — 6 years ago

Purpulish dense red with long legs 👁️
Dark fruit with pepper, cinammon and hints of tobbaco 👃
Zippy and fruity, almost syropy.
Medium acidity. Fruity shit, not too sweet.
Firm but elegant tannins. Medium 🎯
Does what Ozzie Shiraz is supposed to do.
Paired well with a big variety medterrenian dinner.

Just popped and double-decanted this to go with Ligurian braised rabbit. In my experience, this is a producer where you don’t have to worry much about whether the wine will be ready to drink because their wines tend to be delicious early and also age well in the mid-term. Right away, this shows scents of dried leather, macerated mid-cherry, gravelly earth. And dark spice. Surprisingly structured on the palate, with intense savory flavors complementing dark cherry. Lengthy, intense finish. This will keep for several more years but is really good now. — 8 months ago
Great value and decent Shiraz — 5 years ago

Light aroma, pepper and spice, medium body, pairs well with firm pasta and game (duck and rabbit). Enjoyed a bottle with team at Ecco in Atlanta. — 7 years ago
