Smells like a forest of wonderfully dirty cherries covered in earth. Nice pipe tobacco and some sweet chocolate. This ‘10 is fresh a Tuscan Daisy, nice balance of acidity/tannin, and great company for herb rubbed flank steak with homemade black olive aioli. There’s some spice around the edges and a long finish to contemplate. Nicely put together. From a 375ml.

Stunning. Apple and oak. Great balance of fruit and acidity. Expensive ($80) but worth it. — 7 months ago
Marenco ‘Pineto’ Brachetto D’Acqui DOCG 2015: Light. Bright. Sweet. Delicious fruity flavors: Raspberry. Strawberry jam. Cherry soda. Paired perfectly with homemade crescentina fritta (grazie nonna!), soft cheeses, salumi & nutella! Happy Holidays to all! Cheers🍷🎄 — 2 years ago
Lots of plummy flavours with a bit of a cool mountain air finish. Think black truffles. Went very well with a homemade red sauce. — 3 years ago
An excellent example of Chianti Classico full of juicy cherry, plum, cedar & roasted tomato after a brief 30 min decant. All supported by a robust acidity & a touch of rustic tannins. A delicious wine & stellar pairing with homemade Chicken Parmesan! [3/16/24] ($18) — 2 months ago
This site was, at one time a moonshiner site, subsequently planted by Charlie Chenoweth with Pinot Noir. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, herb and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe strawberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice! — 3 months ago

Black cherry, Darjeeling tea, red plum skin, faints scents of vanilla bean and sandalwood. Elegant and delicious. I’ll put this up as a contender for one of RRV’s best. — a month ago
