9.1

A bit more complex than your standard New Zleand Sauvignon blanc with a rounder pallate while still retaining the delicious new Zealand characteristics of gooseberry, grapefruit and fresh cut grass. [3/23/25] ($17) — a month ago

9.4

This Sonoma Pinot Noir is drinking perfectly after almost 10 years with bold aromas & flavors of blackberries, plums, along notes of graphite and forest floor.  The palate is nearly perfectly balanced with well integrated tannins and punchy acidity through a long finish. A wonderful pairing with reverse seared Filet mignon and fried garlic green beans! [8/16/24] ($33) — 9 months ago

9.3

An expressive and complex Sonoma Syrah that nicely balances a fruit and herbal compnents.  The nose & pallate has layers of plum, cranberry, completed by dried herbs, and graphite and leather.  Balanced acidity and well integrated tannins made this a wonderful pairing with steak au poivre! [6/5/24] ($20) — a year ago

9.1

An excellent example of Chianti Classico full of juicy cherry, plum, cedar & roasted tomato after a brief 30 min decant. All supported by a robust acidity & a touch of rustic tannins. A delicious wine & stellar pairing with homemade Chicken Parmesan! [3/16/24] ($18) — a year ago

Although mass produced and widely available this New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc still has some charm and delivers for the price.   Nicely aromatic with a pleasant & integrated blend of gooseberry, jasmine, passionfruit, and lime zest.  Livelyness continues onto the palate where a zippy acidity and citrus take center stage. A tasty pairing with a fresh garden salad! [1/23/25] ($14) — 4 months ago

8.6

A rich & expressive Chardonnay with aromas of brioche, apricot & vanilla with a toasty undertone. The palate while relatively full-bodied luckily bringsa bit more fruit expression with peach, baked pear and more vanilla on the finish. A decent pairing with seared salmon & roasted bell peppers, but still a tad imbalanced! [7/22/24] ($25) — 10 months ago

8.5

An inoffensive and quaffable Sauvignon Blanc which leans on toward the herbal and soft side of this varietal. Showcases flavors of bell oepper, gooseberry, with hints of lemon/lime & cream, but not quite enough acidity.  A decent pairing to cook and drink with shrimp scampi! [3/27/24] ($13) — a year ago

9.3

A fresh, vibrant, and intensely flavorful Sangiovese (85) /Cabernet Sauvignon (15) blend. Begins with aromas of fresh cherry & plum with undertones of clove & sweet tobacco. A perfect pairing with homemade lasagna, and worth noting improved after a decant and into day 2! [9/6/24] ($18) — 8 months ago

First time having this varital pure Arinto wine from Portugal, and it impressed me with its bouquet of jasmine, peach, and lemon zest. The palate didn't quite live up to that promise and came across with similar flavors but less vibrance. All in all still and interesting wine and good pairing with shrimp scampi! [7/28/24] ($11) — 10 months ago

8.7

This Australian Reisling comes across very subtle and nuanced with light aromas of lemon-lime zest with a mineral undertone. The pallate is quite dry and brings a bit more interest with a heady acidity along with melon, pear, and a whisper of sweet jasmine. Worth noting this wine was best once left to warm to just below room temp. A nice pairing with dry rub chicken thighs and roasted garlic broccoli! [4/27/24] ($17) — a year ago
