People who think rosé wines can’t be good need to try this one. Delicious. — 7 months ago
Fascinating. A lot of melon and earth. — 4 years ago
Remember all the odd but good wines from BD. Just a few bottles left and tasting very good — 5 years ago
Soft notes of mocha and light coffee roast with gentle dusty tannins an earthy core and light red fruit mingling with smoked meat. The finish is peppery but elegant — 7 years ago
Not Y Block, but quite nice with chicken and asparagus then trout and tomato salad. Balanced between fruit and oak with a lovely finish.
Enjoyed again with chicken. — 2 months ago
Even better than last bottle. More integrated. So much flavor and earth and balance. Just outstanding — 5 months ago
Rich and and mild. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Too bad they don’t make these any more. Should look for it. — 7 months ago
65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Drinks better than the last vintage I had of this. — 9 months ago
Drank with onion and pepper brats and peach, tomato, and corn salad at Grand Lake cousin’s camp (2021). Light mouthfeel, hint of pepper and spice, but the spice might be the peppers. Raspberry, strawberry, and mild blueberries. Lighter than my style but good with the brats and good fruit. — 5 years ago
Peppery, meaty and earthy on the nose. Juicy on the palate. — 7 years ago
This is a rosé for people who don't drink rosé because they feel there's no complexity there. This is loaded with complexity, starting with the color - is it pink, salmon, copper, onion… - and continuing on the nose, which offers up a hint of funk along with a host of saline, herbal aromas. The palate shows more fruit, but stays in the savory range. Zesty acidity tops off this piece of perfection with poise. — 7 years ago
Enjoyed with lamb. Jammy, and a good bargain. — 2 months ago

Ray Vanderhoff
Rhône-style blend of primarily Grenache (69%) with additions of Syrah (15%), Cinsault (14%) and Petite Sirah (2%). Bright red color with a small ruby core. Aromas of ripe red fruit, fresh herbs and dusty earth. Flavors of red raspberry, strawberry and currant fruit with additional notes of fennel seeds, tobacco and black pepper spice. Long earthy and spicy finish. No sign of oak aging. Bright, fresh and well structured. Nice chill-able Summer Red. Enjoyed at Three Oaks Steakhouse in Easton, PA. — 23 days ago
