Vintage 2014 | 90% Tempranillo 5% Mazuelo 5% Graciano from 70 years old vines. 24 months on American oak and 18 months in bottle before release. Medium colour, ripe summerfruit, liquorice and cedar, remarkable purple in colour, lovely elegance and refinement. Paired with a rib cutlet. — 4 years ago
Really like this wine, I have paired it with red sauce Italian food and was a perfect match — 6 years ago

This wine was such an experience - and to think I got it free from the Morales family themselves in Spain.. What a treat. My first Rioja blanco reserva and it was fantastic! The nose was extravagant with a staunch petrol note, backed by toasty oak (the most I've smelled in a white, due I'm sure to the 18 months in new French oak), cinnamon, and a touch of mint.
The palate is medium bodied, melon notes and tons of minerality abound. A fresh lemony acidity rounds out the palate. I would have guessed Mosel Riesling if tasted blind.. What a unique and delicious wine. — 10 years ago

A nice Tempranillo. Not outstanding, but well worth the price. — 2 years ago
Color:med ruby
Nose:very nice ripe raspberry jam, rhubarb, cranberry
Palate: high acid upfront, follows with bright acidic tart fruits like sour cherry/blood orange/grapefruit, cranberry/strawberry, low/mid tannin, finishes with a mouthwatering tartness. High acid, light bodied, very tart. — 3 years ago
Might be a bit past its prime but still quite good. Light ruby color with a brick rim. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, rose petals, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco and dried herbs. Smooth and dusty tannins. Brimming with acidity. Extremely complex, but maybe just a touch out of balance. Still a pleasure. Thank You John P. — 4 years ago
Potential new go-to rioja. Both really like! Nice amount of tartness — 6 years ago
An awesome white blend that went well on a hot summer night with cheese and crackers! — 7 years ago
Great rosé from Rioja! Very salmon pink in color, and crystal clear. The nose was full of strawberries, some spice notes, and a very faint note of earth and mineral. The pallet exhibited notes of ripe strawberry, ruby grapefruit, and lemon zest, with a highly acidic, but refreshing finish. I wouldn't mind keeping these around for daily consumption!
Cheers!
