Feudo Dei Sanseverino

Calabria IGT Gaglioppo 2022

This wine has a medium ruby color to it. The nose is full of black fruit and savory aromas. Plum, blackberry, and currant bring sweetness, which is balanced by notes of earth, tar, and pepper. The palate shows clean, fresh fruit and a brisk acidity with firm tannins. It's a great chance to add the Gaglioppo grape to your century club list. — 12 days ago

Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Aris Gaglioppo 2018

Du Cropio (Giuseppe Ippolito)

Dom Giuvà Du Cropio Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Gaglioppo

Starts right off with black cherries, apricots, and currants. The acidity builds layered with smoke, anise, and fig. There is yet a sweet undertone with a thicker feel throughout a dry finish. — 4 months ago

Drinks like the ‘-18; light and fruity. I had it with grilled chicken and it went very well. — 4 years ago

Chora Bianco Mantonico 2021

For the first year this label is 100% Mantonico
Indeed i am truly loving this local variety
It grows often quite high uphill, even 5-600 metres over sea level
It results a bit aromatic, quite fullish to be a wine that is kind of considered a entry level wine
I guess it stays on the lees for a bit
However the result is delicious, quite mineral, very easy drinking and persistent
I am very curious to see how this could age for a couple of years
Btw i paid it 7.50 euros🤫🤫🤫
