Fiorduva 2024. Wine of the fjord. Single vineyard. Golden coloration. On the nose, lemon, salinity, minerals, buttery oak. On the palate, rich and smooth,citrus- lemon, salinity, minerality, long finish with honey balancing the acidity nicely. — 2 months ago
Unripe peach, maybe a little melon, nice minerality, good with arugula! — 3 months ago
Had high hopes as this wine/vintage was an absolute stunner 7-8 years ago when I last had a bottle but this one was a bit shagged (as my newly minted MW friend likes to say). Hoping it’s just this bottle, but maybe it’s peak has long past. Slightly maderized and very little fruit left. Thin. — 4 months ago
One of the best langhe nebbiolos I’ve had recently, especially for a relatively reasonable price on the list at Leon’s. And a great pairing with pork braciole as well. Lots of fruit, but still quite refined, with great texture and acid. Quite pretty and delicious. — 5 months ago
2022. Great bang for the buck. Savory, salinity. Everything I want in a chilled Italian on a hot day. Buy more! — 2 days ago
Bert’s June wine tasting - this has a nice flavor - unpacked and it’s a blend. The vineyard was Luigi Baidana and he sold his vineyard to this vineyard who makes borolo and makes wine the way he did rather than selling to rich folks who just wanted his property. — 2 months ago
Solid Italian option and Kurt rec. would try again. Light and acidic but not too much. Grassier than citrus. — 3 months ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 5 months ago

Flavorsome, oak free Carricante from Sicily’s Mt Etna. The 2024 displays an engaging light straw appearance, aromas and flavors of citrus and green apple, a crisp, sur lie enhanced, medium body that delivers an energetic lasting finish. — 3 days ago
